I took Berger, my 10y/o White Shepherd, over to stay with Jan for a week while I was on a business trip and Jan updated me with text messages and photos of Berger all week while I was gone. It was nice to see photos of Berger comfortable, happy, playing ball and feeling loved in Jan's home. Jan is wonderful and I would recommend her for anyone needing an extremely nice & accommodating pet sitter. My trip was extended at the last minute and Jan was very sweet and able to accommodate Berger for the extra night providing me the piece of mind that he was going to continue being cared for by a loving pet sitter. Jan was a pleasure to work with.

Jan recently watched my dogs for the first time and I must say when I returned they were smiling and seemed perfectly content, she must have made them feel like family. I was always getting picture updates which made me feel great and connected. I would absolutly use Jan for watching your furry friend for the fact that a. she is lovely and b. her family seems to be pet people and c. her backyard is perfect for lounging or running around. (

Kobe stayed with Jan at her lovely Venice home 5/10/13-5/12/13. He had a great time and I would recommend Jan to anyone. I knew Kobe's stay was going to be good when I saw Jan's neat home with a comfortable gated backyard. She has a nice deck, doggie water fountain, toys, blankets, etc. She also has a detailed intake form you can fill out to make sure you give her all the important info like feeding times, habits, and quirks. While we were away, she sent us pictures of how Kobe was doing which we very much enjoyed. Kobe looked like he was having a great time in all of them.

Jan is a wonderful dog-sitter, pack-leader and caretaker! (I almost didn't want to give a testimonial, because I want to keep her all to myself.) She is knowledgeable, dedicated, and nurturing, and provides a loving, easygoing environment with a wonderful team of supporters. Jan is absolutely fantastic with my Sharpei Bruno - he's a rescue with *lots* of special needs but Jan has been super patient and accommodating. I leave him with her often for daycare and left him with her for 2 weeks over the holidays. He was very happy and had a great time. I would trust her with any dog - Bruno is the extreme and has done very well with her so I'm sure a regular friendly dog would do great with her!

This was Balkan and Rila's second stay with Jan! She takes them on walks often and shows them plenty of love! Highly recommended! It would always be my first choice for my pups to stay with Jan while we're away.
