Rabies vaccination is required by law. Please bring proof of all up-to-date vaccinations recommended by your vet which usually include DHPP, Leptospirosis and Canine Influenza.
WHAT ABOUT FLEA TREATMENT?
For their own health and comfort and mine, your dog must be on an effective, year-round flea prevention program. In my experience, oral treatments are most effective in a beach environment.
WHAT WILL YOU DO IF MY DOG GETS INJURED OR SICK?

In an emergency, I will take your dog to the nearest vet and then make every attempt to contact you.
If non-emergency care is needed, I will consult with you first and then take your dog to the nearest vet.  The Marina Bay Cities VCA and the Animal Wellness Center are the two closest facilities. The VCA Urgent Care in Mar Vista has extended hours.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING FROM HOME?
Please bring your dog's food, a collar with ID tag & your contact info, bed (optional), and a harness if you have one. I have plenty of bowls, toys, balls, dog beds, and extra harnesses.  Don't bring favorite toys because I can't guarantee what condition they will be in when returned. Please label items if practical.

I recommend that your dog's ID tag is on a collar that they always wear.  I use harnesses on walks and remove them in my home and yard to avoid the slight risk of getting entangled while playing with the other dogs.

WILL MY DOG BE CRATED?
I do not crate dogs since we want our guests to enjoy being in a home environment.
HOWEVER, if your dog is crate-trained and must sleep in a crate your may bring their crate.

ARE YOU ABLE TO GIVE MY DOG HIS MEDICATION?
I am experienced giving oral medication, insulin injections, and applying topical treatments. There may be a nominal charge depending on complexity of dosing.  Please make sure the medication is labeled and provide written dosing instructions.
